Dr Jonathan Gordon located a vacant site for a new skin cancer medical centre and had a full patient calendar. The new venture was to establish a fully operational specialised practice in a short period of time. The brief was to work with several trades and the practice management software company (Best Practice) to finalise his last day in his old premises and to start afresh the following Monday at the new address.
Integer IT were given the task of implementing all their IT, data and telephony.
Firstly, we established a new NBN fibre data circuit into the building to quickly establish connectivity. Working with Best Practice we created the new server environment and tested historical patient records for accurate data transfer into the new BP instance. Integer IT created the entire SunCheck network within our offices, including a Server, firewall, switches, desktops and printers whilst we counted down the days to the delivery deadline. We acquired new telephone numbers and created a hosted 3CX telephony, working with the practice manager to create call flows and messaging. With the communications cabinet already installed and network patching completed the final building trades left the site. As the deadline approached the office was ready for us to install all the IT over the last few days and make good any last-minute alterations prior to opening day.
Integer’s recommendations were embraced and Suncheck opened their doors on time.
As Suncheck are a brand-new entity, it is not often businesses can work together to set up the most appropriate IT requirements from day one. Suncheck have adopted a secure environment with email filtering, O365, Sophos Firewall with EDR protection on devices whilst backing up the server and email offsite. HP printers were deployed for specific tasks with WIFI set up for business and guest use. Email signature set up was completed with the new logo to enhance the business image and hosted 3cx telephony controls the voice call flows. All trades including medical and building suppliers worked seamlessly together with excellent communication and updates throughout the project.
Suncheck have invested in technology for the long term by securing a supportable technology stack of equipment with extended warranties that will be fit for purpose for at least the next 5 years. As all IT services have been installed by Integer and fully supported by service level agreements, Suncheck know that a single email or call to support will be resolved without multiple suppliers being involved.
